This painting commemorates the Bondi Beach massacre on December 14, 2025, the first night of Chanukah. The wavy waters speak to grief ad sorrow of that dark day, where 15 Jewish souls were taken from us, like they are pictured here, golden in the current. While the chanukkiah appears faint, like a memory that refuses to disappear. Those 15 came to celebrate light, and instead, they left in darkness. This print is based off my original painting.
A portion of this print's sales will be going to survivor's recoveries.
